Install

Run SpaceSimulator-Setup.exe. The game isn't signed: if Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
Click Install. The game goes into %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\SpaceSimulator (no administrator rights needed), with a shortcut in the Start menu and, if you like, on the desktop.
The first time, the game asks for your player name; then you start a team or join one.

After that

The game updates itself every time it starts: the installer is needed only once.
SpaceSimulator (solo), in the Start menu, plays alone in a local world, without a server.
Your players (name and secret token) are kept in %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\SpaceSimulator\player.json: keep that file to get your inventory and ships back.
To uninstall: Settings › Apps › SpaceSimulator. Your players stay kept.
